Brent is an associate in the firm’s litigation group. He acts on insurance defence, employment law and commercial real estate litigation matters.

His experience includes advising on MVA and property damage insurance claims, representing employers and employees in wrongful dismissal cases, discrimination and human rights disputes, resolving commercial lease disputes, and acting on debt collection matters. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court and the Small Claims court.

From his time articling with the firm, Brent has learned the importance of being thorough and organized from the moment a file opens. His goal is to consistently arrive better prepared than opposing counsel. Brent’s background studying history honed his skills in writing and ability to craft an argument. Also a student of philosophy, Brent has always been interested in understanding logic and decision making; experience that now helps him prepare his cases and anticipate the tactics of opposing counsel.
