Combining a knack for the fine details with an ability to plan and execute, Kate uses her skills to help business owners and private clients navigate their important legal decisions. Her corporate practice includes advising on incorporations, shareholder agreements, restructurings and financing. She also acts for private individuals buying or selling a home and on wills, trusts and estate planning.
Kate enjoys working closely with her clients and is quick to at understanding their unique motivations, priorities and concerns. She uses her skills and experience as a communicator to understand and address their needs, and to explain the steps she will be taking on their behalf.
Kate articled with the firm and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2017. At Osgoode Hall she won awards for her drafting skills and secured a year-long placement at ARCH Disability Law Centre. Prior to pursuing her law degree, Kate worked as an assistant to the Federal Minister of Finance who encouraged her to pursue a career in law.
