Neelofar is an Associate of the firm’s Civil Litigation Group. Her practice encompasses a wide range of disputes, including landlord and tenant conflicts, insurance defence claims covering property damage, slip and falls, and Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs). Neelofar takes a vested interest in all her files and uses her research strength and advocacy skills to achieve the best outcome possible for all clients.
 
An ardent belief in the importance of the law led Neelofar to pursue her legal studies. The opportunity to assist clients in their disputes carry a vital task of analyzing the unique features of different files, which drew her to a career in litigation. She enjoys working closely with clients through a collaborative approach to finding solutions that meet their best interest.  
 
While at law school, Neelofar worked in the Tenant Division of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where she represented low-income clients in various tenancy matters. She has also served as a judicial law clerk at the Ontario Court of Justice. 
 
A multilingual lawyer, Neelofar is fluent in Farsi/Dari, Hindi/Urdu, and has a working knowledge of Pashto. She also holds a master’s degree in International Affairs, equipping her with the necessary skills to understand the policy framework and its comparative legal dimensions. 
 
An avid reader, Neelofar also enjoys skating in winter and hiking in the warmer months.
