A member of the firm’s litigation group, Sasha’s practice is focused on employment, estate litigation, civil litigation. She combines an ability to communicate succinctly and effectively in writing with poise and clarity when presenting complex factual and legal situations on a clients’ behalf inside and outside of Court.
 
Sasha assists employers and employees in resolving employment and workplace disputes including terminations, human rights matters, health and safety issues, and investigations into workplace harassment. Sasha proactively manages employers’ risk by drafting contracts and workplace policies to avoid future legal issues.
 
Sasha also advises Attorneys for Property and Personal Care, Estate Trustees, beneficiaries, and family members when disputes arise over the administration of assets or an estate. She also conducts Guardianship Applications.
 
Sasha first joined Kelly Santini LLP as a summer student, and she completed her articling term with the firm. Sasha was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019. She gained experience advocating in court early in her career, appearing before the Ontario Superior Court and Small Claims Court.
 
Increasing access to justice is important to Sasha. Throughout law school she worked with underserved communities at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, Reach Canada and Pro Bono Ontario. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Sasha studied International Development and Women’s Studies and she has spent significant time working in communities in Asia and Africa.
