With more than 30 years of legal experience, Larry Kelly serves a large and diverse business clientele. His in-depth understanding of topics such as debt and equity financing, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance helps entrepreneurs, venture capital funds, financial institutions and businesses in technology, real estate and insurance accomplish their business objectives.

Larry’s professional experience includes serving as a director of several companies and he is a former director and vice-president of Kelly Funeral Homes Limited. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Infrastructure Ontario and on the advisory Board of the Reilly Center at Notre Dame University, South Bend, Indiana, focusing on ethics in business and science. He is also a founding director of the Serona Frontier Markets Fund which provides impact investing in emerging nations to small entrepreneurs. Larry has previously served on the boards of St. Francis Xavier University, Ottawa General Hospital and Top Aces Inc.

Larry is actively involved in charitable fundraising, including as Chair of the Ottawa Hospital Eye Institute Campaign, Co-Chair of Major Gifts at St. Francis Xavier, Expanding Futures Capital Campaign, and St. Patrick’s Home for the Aged. In 2015, Larry was the recipient of the County of Carleton Law Association’s Gordon F. Henderson Award for community service.
