Congratulation to Don Burke who was recently presented with the Special Olympics Festival Volunteer of the Year for Canada award. Don has been chairing the Ottawa Special Olympics Festival Breakfast since its inception in 2005. In that time, the Ottawa breakfast has raised over $200,000 for Special Olympics athletes in Eastern Ontario. Don was presented the award at the Special Olympics 25th Anniversary Awards Gala in Toronto.
