Lawrence Silber Elected Trustee of Ottawa Law Association
Congratulations to Lawrence Silber who was recently elected by his peers to serve as a Trustee of the County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA). Since its inception in 1888, the CCLA has actively pursued improvements to court services and facilities while enhancing educational programmes for the Ottawa bar. A founding membership of 56 has increased to a current membership of over 1,300. Today, this not-for-profit association continues to provide valuable library and research services, and has also grown to become a leading organization committed to offering its members advocacy, legal education, and guidance through the ongoing changes facing the profession.
