Sean Bawden Takes Helm as President of CCLA
The County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA) has announced that Sean Bawden is the new President of the Board of Trustees. An employment law partner at Kelly Santini, Sean brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as vice president and secretary of the CCLA. He first joined the board as a trustee in 2013 and is the first person from Kelly Santini to serve as president of the association.
Sean’s election comes at a critical time for the CCLA, as it embarks on creating its strategic plan for 2025-2030. The CCLA is also set to relocate its annual civil litigation conference to Montreal, marking the event’s debut in the city. The conference remains a key event for the association, offering vital networking and professional development opportunities for its members.
