A commercial litigator, Jason’s practice is focused on bankruptcy & insolvency, restructuring, banking litigation, and financial services law. Never one to back down from a conflict, Jason tackles complex disputes through his common-sense approach and an unrelenting focus on the key issues that will resolve a dispute in the most efficient and cost effectively manner.

Jason advises businesses, business owners, shareholders, secured and unsecured creditors, licenced insolvency trustees, and court-appointed receivers on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring. As an advisor to businesses, Jason seeks creative and practical solutions and works closely with his clients to help them meet their desired outcome. Jason also advises trustees, receivers, banks and other lenders on security enforcement and the sale of business assets.

Backed by a Masters degree in Banking and Financial Services Law, Jason advises financial institutions on various issues relating to lending, client services and their regulatory and compliance protocols and procedures. He draws on his extensive litigation experience to pursue claims involving money laundering and fraud.

Outside of work, Jason is an avid golfer, downhill skier and recreational hockey player. He can usually be found enjoying these activities with his family and friends.
