Kasia is a litigator. Her practice focuses on general civil litigation. She assists businesses and individuals with a broad range of disputes, including employment matters, commercial and contract disputes, debt recovery, and other civil matters. In her insurance defence work, she represents insurers and their insureds in property damage files, occupiers’ liability claims, slip-and-fall cases, motor vehicle accident claims, and other liability disputes.

Kasia approaches litigation with a focus on preparation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. She works closely with colleagues and clients to understand the key issues in a dispute, develop clear strategies, and advance matters toward resolution.

Before pursuing a legal career, Kasia worked in the settlement, arts, and non-profit sectors, where she developed and led community-based programs for refugee and newcomer youth. That experience continues to inform her ability to work with clients through complex and challenging circumstances.

Outside the office, Kasia enjoys hiking, open-water swimming, and skating on the Rideau Canal. She serves on the board of directors of Charles Street Video, an artist-run centre in Toronto.
