Kyle Stout’s corporate & commercial practice spans a diverse client base, from small and medium-sized family-owned businesses to large institutional clients. His expertise covers the full spectrum of business needs, including incorporations, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), succession planning, financing, franchise matters for both franchisors and franchisees, and negotiating and drafting all manners of commercial agreements, including licensing and technology agreements.

For many years, Kyle’s business practice included commercial litigation, where he routinely appeared before all levels of court. Those years of experience help him anticipate potential business disputes. He leverages his negotiation skills and insights into business conflicts to help his clients reach successful and productive agreements with shareholders, investors, suppliers, customers, and strategic partners. If a dispute arises, he leverages his court room experience and assertive approach to manage and resolve the conflict before it escalates into costly and time-consuming legal proceedings.

Kyle is a member of the Nunavut Bar and is grateful for his experience advising a wide range of clients, including businesses of all sizes and a number of governmental agencies, within the Territory.  Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, continuously honing his negotiation skills with his children, and squeezing in the occasional round of golf.
