Larry established Kelly Santini LLP when he was fresh out of law school. Over the course of Larry’s career, the firm grew to be one of the largest independent firms in Ottawa serving local, national and international business owners, not-for-profits, insurers, and private individuals with a wide range of legal needs.

A highly accomplished lawyer and businessman, Larry advised clients across eastern Ontario and beyond on corporate, real estate, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and sports law. Combining his passion for sports and exceptional negotiating skill, Larry represented some of the biggest names in hockey as well as professional athletes in a variety of other sports. Over the years, Larry mentored many in the firm and played an important role in advancing their careers. He led by example and taught aspiring lawyers the importance of caring for clients as well as tending to their legal needs.

While building a successful legal practice, Larry also served on numerous corporate, institutional and charity boards. Demonstrating the breadth of his knowledge, Larry was a member of the board of Infrastructure Ontario for seven years. Currently, Larry is a member of the boards of Sarona Frontier Fund, an impact investment firm focused on health, education and jobs in emerging nations, Pole Air Aviation Inc., and the Reilly Center For Science, Technology and Values – University of Notre Dame. Larry served two terms on the board of governors of St. Francis Xavier University and was also a member of the board of The Ottawa Hospital. Always active in philanthropic endeavors, Larry led major fundraising campaigns for The Ottawa Eye Institute, St. Francis Xavier University and St. Patrick’s Home. For his community service Larry was honoured by his colleagues with the County of Carleton Law Association’s Gordon F. Henderson Award.

Our firm will not be the same without Larry, but the time comes for everyone to look to the next chapter in their lives. We wish Larry the very best and thank him for his years of support and leadership.
