The joining of the firms continues the legal legacy of Ron Scott, who has served Ottawa individuals, families, and business owners for more than 50 years. Ron’s trusted estate planning, estate administration, and wills practice will continue at Kelly Santini, ensuring clients receive the same thoughtful, personal service while benefiting from the broader range of legal services available through the firm.

The move also marks the return of a nationally recognized sports law practice to Kelly Santini. Through his role with Octagon Sports, Andy Scott has established himself as one of the industry’s leading hockey agents. A certified agent with the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), Andy represents many of the NHL’s top players, negotiating player contracts, endorsement agreements, and other commercial opportunities. Andy brings that same expertise in negotiation to his corporate practice, advising business owners on mergers and acquisitions, franchise transactions, and other significant commercial matters.

Joining Andy and Ron at Kelly Santini are Guy Le Madec and Geneviève Smillie. Guy advises clients on residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate and commercial matters, estate planning, and estate administration. Geneviève assists individuals, families, and business owners with residential real estate, wills and estates, estate administration, and corporate and commercial matters.
